Why Indian creators need an Indian-owned social media platform.
“India built the world's content. We didn't build the stage.”

India makes more content than almost anywhere else on earth. Every day, in every language the country speaks, someone is filming, writing, singing, teaching, or arguing into a camera. And almost none of it lives on a stage we own.
For a decade, the biggest platforms in the world have been built somewhere else, governed by someone else, and monetized on someone else's terms. Indian creators supplied the content. We rarely got to shape the room it was performed in.
That's not a complaint about any single company. It's a structural observation: the stage a creator performs on decides what gets rewarded — outrage over nuance, English over regional language, virality over craft. Ownership of the stage is ownership of the incentive.
We started Verzii because we think that stage can be built here, for the people who are already filling it with their work. Not a copy of what already exists, but a platform that treats identity, language, and community as the product — not the exhaust.
The revolution isn't loud. It's a server, a team, and a slow, deliberate decision to build the room ourselves this time.
